Get ready for an exhilarating coffee experience at SIGEP in the Rimini Expo Centre in Italy.
For the first time, Anfim will have a dedicated booth at SIGEP World in Rimini from January 18th to 22nd, showcasing our range of espresso grinders with a series of engaging activities and workshops designed for coffee enthusiasts. You can also enter to win your own Anfim Luna espresso grinder and make your own custom tote bag, just stop by the Anfim booth at Hall B1, Stand 109 during the event weekend!
The program includes specialized workshops on coffee grinding techniques and an interesting talk about one of the most pressing topics of the moment: the price of coffee. These workshops will be led by Valentina Palange, known in the coffee world as “Specialty PaL,” the new Anfim brand ambassador.
Through these workshops, Valentina and the entire Anfim team will highlight how grinding is a fundamental step in brewing a great espresso, alongside the quality of the raw product and its processing. More broadly, baristas are encouraged to develop tasting skills to achieve the perfect balance in every cup, a goal that should always remain the focus.
Anfim grinders ensure that the grinding process is efficient and enjoyable, thanks to their intuitive integrated display and high-quality burrs. Developed at the Hemro Group state-of-the-art production facility in Hamburg, the burrs are designed to deliver consistency with every grind, whether single or double doses.
The Art of Roasting Coffee: Italian Roasteries Featured at the Anfim Workshop
The workshops will take place daily from January 18th to 21st, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at the Anfim booth: Hall B1, Stand 109.
To enhance the experience, Anfim has partnered with artisanal coffee roasters from different regions of Italy. These roasters will engage visitors during both the workshops with a special affogato tasting session from 12:00 to 13:00 PM, which will sweetly conclude each appointment.
Participating roasters include:
Gelato provided by Città del Gelato, an artisanal gelato lab offering a 100% plant-based gelato specifically created to pair perfectly with specialty or high-quality coffee. The creation of this gelato was made possible through a project led mostly by female entrepreneurs from Apulia called “Fatto a Sud,” which provides consultancy and services in the food sector.
Special Talk: “The Price of Coffee: Why Is It Hard to Justify Increases to Italian Consumers?”
On Monday, January 20th, at 12:00 PM, a highly anticipated talk will address one of the most pressing topics in the coffee industry: the challenge of explaining coffee price increases to consumers in Italy.
Six esteemed guests, each an expert in different aspects of the coffee supply chain, will share their perspectives and experiences:
